Very poor quality

The software sucked my new Macbook Pro battery so bad that it made the computers fan work at its maximum speed, the computer became so hot whenever I watch a video. I thought it was normal, but I wasn’t comfortable and downloaded VLC Player from the Internet and surprisingly it worked like a charm! I didn’t hear my fans work hard, no abnormal heat. With this Software I can play only 1.5 hours, which is so low! The VLC on the other hand, I can play videos for up to 6 hours non stop (of course that’s with a single battery charge).
